I need tonsil help please? - pictures of tonsil stoe

I've never had my tonsils (unless my parents tell me something), and although I still almonds. However, my science teacher told the class that many of us have no almonds that I do not recall deleted. I compared my throat, with a picture of a healthy almonds, and apparently I have none. But I have seen many cases of sore throat, my whole life. Can someone explain what is going on?
